3rd MAH FRIENDS Xchange gip giving
Last night I was with my friends to have our annual Christmas exchange gift blah. It was the first gift giving night that we’re not complete because Chen is still at Taiwan studying mandarin. Also a first is that were now working and it’s not before/after UST Paskuhan festivities.
We agreed to meet at Little tokyo. As usual I was the early bird to arrive considering I walked from my office to the venue. Naddy came second then Ces and eventually Jeb arrived. We manage to get a seat at a restaurant there called Nodasho.
Surprisingly we were directed to sat at the counter facing the chefs who makes the raw Japanese goodies because the place was full. Naddy ordered Hand rolled octopus for the sake of trying how it tastes like while I got California Maki because I saw in Foursquare that it is recommended. Cessie on the other hand wanted Crazy maki and Jeb ordered California Maki plus Miso soup. It was really amazing when you see skilled chefs preparing fresh food then handing it out in front of you.
The place was pack so we decided to go and search for a coffee shop to have our exchange gifts. We found ourselves going to the Starbucks along Legazpi st.
They ordered some drinks then exchange our gifts. Naddy opened our gift giving with her usual speeches and announced that she has a gift for herself. We were surprised but when we opened her gifts to us and herself it was leggings that each has a distinct color. Jebber gave us toys: one stress ball and a loop thingy you can display at your table while Cessie gave us bags. Yep, bags that we can use for office.
Me, I gave Naddy a Panda looking blindfold because she doesn’t want to see any light when she sleeps. For Jeb, I gave Play-doh and some thingymagigy for creating pasta with it. Lastly, a piggy contact lens container plus for Cessie. After that we made our gift for Chenie to be send soon.
It was a fun night and it ended when Tita picked us up there. I hope this annual thing will continue to the years to come. Til’ the next Xchange gip, guys!
